Stanly County WIA Youth Participants recently participated in an Entrepreneurial Experience that provided a foundational understanding of how to start, develop and manage a business. This program component will be offered as a collaboration with The Uwharrie Learning Center.
Power Source: Taking Charge of Your Life is a practical, accessible, and innovative book/curriculum designed to help at-risk youth identify their strengths and take control over their lives, while inreasing their understanding of the emotions and beliefs driving their negative behaviors.
Resource Development Center with Stanly Life Path are hosting this once a month workshop to help participants learn new and positive ways to handle life and the situations we find ourselves in every day. Techniques will help our youth find their strengths and use them to focus positively in society.
